Starbucks Card Launch @ The Curve

Throughout my life as a college student, I have been my spending most of my assignment days at Starbucks outlets; just like many other hardworking students (hehe). 

The lovely environment of comfort chairs and soothing jazz music has managed to put in me in a peaceful state of mind to the extend of not noticing the super long hours I've been glued to the chair while the blooming fumes of freshly brewed coffees with caffeine particles kept my mind awake to ensure I actually get some work done during my time spent there. 

But what pleases me most at Starbucks is the friendly services they provide as well as the customer benefits and conveniency which I find really important when it comes to customer services.

And once again, Starbucks prove me right in being loyal to them when they decided to introduce their Starbucks Card for customers to enjoy more benefits.

This handy-dandy card comes in three (3) unique designs; Light blue Xmas snowman, Red Xmas tree and the original green one like above. During this time, customers will be rewarded with an exclusive card caddy with every load/ reload amount of RM 100 on a card. There are three (3) different colors of card caddy to choose from; Red, Black and Yellow.

Now, moving back to the launch party!

I spent my 11.11.11 night at The Curve, attending the Starbucks Card Grand Launch Party to witness the official launching of the card together with hundreds of people at the mall. The amount of people there was insane, like crazy loads of people! It was so hard just to even get to the registration table as there was a long line of people queuing up to sign up for a free Starbucks card limited to only the first 100 people.

Despite being squashed like a hamster on my way to the registration table, I salute them for their strong determination in lining up for hours even though the straight line later turned into an 'S' because of the lack of space.

You see that guy in black at the bottom right of the picture?? I so absolutely envy his luck that night because of all the lucky draw slots, he won a Starbucks card with RM500 accounted inside and the Starbucks 2012 Organizer!! And I won.... none. This isn't the first time! During other lucky draws as well, I wasn't lucky either! 

I just have to accept the painful fact that I just don't have any luck in lucky draws. :'(
