I feel so blessed to be given the opportunity to fine dine at The Pacific Regency Hotel Suites, KL last week. So, what separates the busy KL life below and the exquisite atmosphere above it? With a glass of Bollinger champagne and freshly cooked lobsters of course in a glamorous dining restaurant, Cristallo Di Luna! ;)

Walking into the sparkly, classy ambience Cristallo portrays from all the crystals hung from above... it definitely lived up to its name. I overheard one of the asst. managers mentioning to one of the guests that the restaurant's main theme is crystals; which explains the name 'Cristallo' and the crystal chandeliers. I can't remember how many times I wow-ed out loud! It is definitely one of the best looking classy restaurants I've dined at.
Now, let's move on to the scrumptious meals they fed us with. ;) The main theme of the night was something similar to the Bond theme as Bollinger Champagne is the signature champagne under the label of James Bond 007. Ohh, mysterious, classy and dangerous ;)

'Tomorrow Never Dies' Chef Salad
Lightly dressed greens in tangy lemon vinaigrette with feta cheese, grilled chicken slices and baby tomatoes.
I personally loved the simple salad the most! For a person who don't fancy greens in her dishes, this, I would nom on everyday ;)

Creamy bowl of 'Quantum Of Solace' Prawn Bisque
Velvety bisque of tomato simmered with lots of prawns and doused with a generous splash of cognac and cream

Lobster Thermidor & Stir Fried Lobster with Thai Basil served with Fried rice
Lobster Thermidor - Sautéed pieces of lobster, finished with a gratinée of velvety béchamel and cheese sauce.
Stir Fried Lobster with Thai Basil - need I say more from the title? ;D This Thai influenced dish really hit the spot!
Best accompanied with a glass of Pacha-Mama's Cabernet Rose wine ;)
Recommended by the waiter, this Rose wine is to enhance the lobster's scrumptious taste giving a more satisfied feel to your taste buds.

And even after all that fulfilling meal, 'The World Is Not Enough'!
Featuring Angus New York Striploin, New Zealand Lamb Rack and Grilled Garoupa. A pleasant dish that combines the best of surf and turf where guests can sample three of Cristallo’s main dishes.
And lastly, to satisfy our sweet tooth, Peach Melba :)
A big scoop of perfumed vanilla ice cream with peach slices and some Raspberry sauce dripped all over.
Another highlight of the night - Bollinger Special Cuvee Champagne
Bollinger Special Cuvee NV Champagne is renowned as the ‘king’ of non-vintage champagnes. The champagne consists of 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. With a unique selling point of a collection of 600,000 magnums of Grands and Premiers crus fermented in barrels, bottled with natural corks, kept for 5 to 15 years or longer, Bollinger certainly exhibits the art of consistency in their champagnes.
Another awesome feature of Pacific Regency Hotel Suites is the Luna Bar outside Cristallo, on the 33/34th floor. This bar is a definite must visit for tourists, or even locals who just want to chill with a spectacular view of KL.
