Weekend getaway at Eastin Hotel, PJ!

Chryl chilling by the pool :)

Last week as one of the most hectic weeks for me in April, it was events after events, assignments after assignments all together! With the overload work and stress, it was just so so so so awesome to have a weekend getaway at the luxurious Eastin Hotel, Petaling Jaya! Perfect timing!!

I know I know, Eastin Hotel is just 20 minutes away from my home… how much denial can this girl be about her 'getaway'? But trust me! At such stressed out period, short stays at a beautiful, luxurious hotel whether near or far is fantastic!

Before checking into our rooms, we were treated to some local tea time delicacies and drinks at The Lounge. The food was so good, I remember not wanting to leave The Lounge just yet because there were so many unfinished dishes left on the table! The mini samosas and curry puffs were my favorite!

As we received our card keys, together with my dates for the weekend, Chryl & Mun, we made our way all the up to the 14th floor still dreaming about the light snacks we had at The Lounge. But all thoughts on anything else flew away as we opened the door to the most amazing hotel room I've ever been to!

Our room was the spacious Executive Duluxe suite (RM750++ per night) with a separate seating area with large double and single seater sofas, a study table, two bathrooms, and one bedroom with a king size bed that is to die for! Fully equipped with fast wi-fi connection, I was at peace knowing that I could get some work done during my stay there but nonetheless, there are two LCD Flat Screen TVs (one in the living hall and the other in the bedroom) for me to relax a little, just in case the head gets too heavy on the workload.

I thought to myself "I am in paradise!!" as I started running all over the room! :D
(Yes, it is THAT spacious until I could run all over)

Spacious seating area with a study table at the corner

Welcoming our presence was a lovely Red Velvet cupcake seating on the coffee table

And here is heaven for your body…

The huge king size bed was big enough for the three of us, not to only sleep but to even roll from one end to the other! You will literally fall asleep within seconds lying on the bed as the soft sheet hugs your body all over while your head is rested on pillows that feel like clouds. Not to forget, the warm and soft comforter rolling you up like a sushi roll.

How to not fall asleep after 5 seconds from all this pampering, you tell me!?

*Ahh… I miss this bed already* :'(

They didn't want to move after that :P

Another important criteria for me when I choose a hotel to stay in is the bathroom! I have had my fair share of bad toilets on budget holidays so, believe me when I say a comfortable, clean and function able toilet is very, very important.

The main bathroom in the bedroom

The bathroom at our Executive Duluxe room is most definitely spacious and comfortable! Even the toilet bowl has its own space at the corner!

This deserves a whole picture to itself than a collage because it is DA BOMB!

I swear, every time after a hotel stay that has a bath tub, I will always repeat these words "I am SO getting a bath tub in my own home".

The other toilet connected to the living hall

A small room as a walk-in closet equipped with an ironing board, an iron and a safe box.

After being all jakun-ed about the awesome room, we headed down to check out the facilities and also, for a quick swim because the weather insisted we do so.

Gym overlooking the pool area

And then, it was time to dunk ourselves in the chilly water! :D

Calm environment to read a book or just relax by the pool

One pool for all; a jacuzzi, main pool area and also a kiddy pool.

Sexy Mun :3

White, fluffy cotton candies in the sky accompanying us during our swim

After an hour of swim (more like floating, hehe), we made our way back to the room to get ready for another awesome dining experience at Eastin hotel.

What's for dinner, you asked?

Stay tuned for the next post to find out! ;)

P/S: Eastin Duluxe suites range from RM 600++ to RM 900++ being the Eastin Family Duluxe Suite with 2 bedrooms with a king size bed and two single beds respectively, a separate seating area and everything else you saw in the suite I stayed at.

  2. I don't know why the hotel beds are so comfortable to sleep in. And their pillows, my goodness, they are lovely!

Do you have an idea on the hotel rate for this room?

Malaysian bathrooms - with the exception of bungalows and semi-detached houses - are never big enough to install a bathtub. Just keep that in mind when the adult Sui Ying buys a house. =D
