GUINNESS St. Patrick's Day 2012 Launch Party!

'Pionta GUINNESS led thoil', 'a pint of GUINNESS please' :)

Just the night before my semester commences, I managed to catch one last night out and thank goodness it is a GUINNESS party for they do know how to make a party a happening one! The celebration of all things green, St. Patrick's Day, is back for the 6th year and promises to be so 'March' fun. What's more, this year, Malaysia will be hosting the largest GUINNESS St. Patrick's Celebration in Asia!

The launch party themed 'Celebrate the laughter side of life' was held at Malones, Pavilion KL till late and as usual, we were served pints after pints of GUINNESS goodness all night long. Before the party begins, friendly chats were called for as I managed to bump into familiar faces and long-time-no-see faces. :)

Happily GUINNESS-ing around! ;)

and Ms. Yap Swee Leng, Marketing Director of GAB

"GUINNESS and St. Patrick's Day have always gone hand-in-hand as globally-recognized icons of Ireland. As this is the 6th year we are hosting this internationally renowned celebration, consumers can expect an even grander and more remarkable St. Patrick's experience", said Ms. Yap Swee Leng, Marketing Director of Guinness Anchor Berhad.

To GUINNESS!
And the green fun continues!

with Xiang!

We were entertained throughout the night with magicians, dancers, comedians, mascots and even a live flashmob in the middle of the walkway! Every minute contained an element of surprise; Just when you thought the joyful GUINNESS parade is done with, comes a live flash mob out of nowhere! And when its over, ANOTHER flash mob catches you off guard 30 minutes later! Fuahhh!! You can't help but to join in the laughter and fun they showered us with! :D

But GUINNESS didn't stop at just laughters as we were pampered with a long buffet table serving comfort food as well! Though it was pretty tedious to eat in a small area while standing, I must say, the food was really delicious! Just wished I had more comfort to enjoy every dish served.

The start of the end

After 3 months of bumming around, it is finally time to head back to Taylor's lakeside.

*Game face on: Time for car park war*

I guess I am actually looking forward to University life because well, it would be the one productive thing I will be spending time on after being a lazy ass for such a long season. The things I probably will miss from the holidays are the late nights, anytime/anywhere party because I'm on holidays, assignement-stress free and not needing to fight for a parking slot every morning at campus.

I've been spending most of my holidays experiencing blogging opportunities I am most thankful for and I will definitely continue the passion even while juggling my final year of tertiary education. Get this… I will be working next year onwards. No more long semester breaks along the year, no more 'accidentally being late to classes' and so on. Scares me a little but life's nothing if not challenged, yes?

As for now, I will just put on my silly face and wave my way out of my final year. :)

*Peace out yo*

Majestic suites @ Swiss-Garden KL

Every now and then, every one needs a weekend getaway but to find time to do so from hectic work schedule is always an issue. The ideal weekend getaway would be to head to an out-stationed destination for a small chance of escapism but for me, a 2D1N 'weekend getaway' often result in more tiredness rather than relaxation due to the rush.

Small portion of the KL jam along Jln. Pudu

Kuala Lumpur, the city carrying Malaysia's heartbeat is definitely a must-visit for tourist who visits Malaysia. Almost every hour of every day regardless of the change in sky color, KL, without a doubt, will be jam packed! While it is often labeled as the best host for business, leisure, shopping or dining… it screams 'RUN-AWAY' rather than a 'GET-AWAY' to us, city people; Especially to those who work in that bee hive.

But when you think about it, if there is an option where you can go around shopping/etc. in the bee hive and as you get tired, just a few blocks away lay a beautiful cozy hotel room for your head… wouldn't it be a good idea for a weekend getaway too? ;)

Just last week, I was invited to Swiss-Garden Residences KL to have a view at its 2 majestic suites on the 33rd floor; the Bukit Bintang Suite - 5 bedrooms with a private balcony and the Kuala Lumpur Suite - 4 bedrooms with a walk-in wardrobe. The Suite is perhaps the most iconic of all living spaces. The word implies sheer elegance, with an emphasis on space, views and an enviable urban lifestyle.

I shall take you on a tour around the two beautiful suites through my camera lens, all pictures shown are a combination of both suites to present you the rough idea of the suites' beauty.

Prepare to be amazed! :D

Designed with the finesse of contemporary interiors and spanning over 2300 square-feet, both suites boast in stunning panoramic views of the bustling KL city. The 4 bedroom suites comes with a spacious living room, 42" TV with 16 channels including satellite and local channels, cozy dining area, AV room, a study area, fully equipped kitchen with contemporary design, bath tub and rain shower as well as a complimentary full minibar and Wi-Fi. I'm pretty sure now all screams had been tuned to saying 'Get-away' rather than 'Run-away'. ;)

Before stepping into the suites, we were treated with a BBQ dinner over at T@ste6 just at the lobby of the Swiss-Garden Residences.

After filling our tummies, we decide to rebel with our dining experience by indulging in cups of lattes after 9pm.

And to our lovely surprise, we were greeted with beautiful coffee arts on our latte foam.

The night got even better as there were lucky draws! I don't expect much when it comes to lucky draws as I know very well of my lousy luck, especially when it comes to lucky draws. But! Woopie dee doo!!

I ACTUALLY GOT LUCKY! :D

In fact, my name was called out first! :D
And at that moment, I just went 'Fulamak'.

Thank you Swiss-Garden KL for a lovely night :)
